The OHS Civics class made a trip to the courthouse to test the ballots and voting machines for the next election. They learned about the election process, and some even volunteered to be election workers! Our seniors encourage you to vote in the upcoming Nov. 8th election!




JH Volleyball Results: In pool play, OJH defeated Lincoln and Rock Hills and lost to St. John's/Tipton. They ended 2-1 in pool play and made it to bracket play. The team then lost to Lakeside and Thunder Ridge. They ended 4th place on the day!

Attentions JH parents/students:
Wednesday at 2:30, there will be meetings for girls and boys who are interested in going out for basketball.
Practice will start Thursday, October 20th, right after school.

HS Volleyball Results: The Lady Dogs went 1-2 on the day defeating Pike Valley then losing to Lakeside. They ended their day in bracket play losing to Sylvan Lucas.

Last week was the 3rd meeting for the Robotics team, which includes students from 4th-7th grades. The students are having a great time preparing for their first competition.




State Tennis Update:
Gracie and Leavie fought hard on their last match of the day but came up short to Smokey Valley (7-9). They took 6th place as a Doubles Team in the State Tournament! Congratulations on a great season this year!
