Algebra 2 finished up the semester with projects that included quadratic sledding routes, linear equation Christmas trees, systems of equation with winter scenarios, and holiday tables full of polynomials!




Algebra 1 created Christmas trees this week with linear graph ornaments, real number subset light bulbs, algebraic expression garland, and linear equation snowflakes!



Trigonometry students finished the semester with their Chapter 3 projects of solving a winter themed story problem using Law of Sines, Law of Cosines, Heron's Formula, and/or Area of an Oblique Triangle!




The 4th graders performed a Christmas play for the PreK students today before heading out to Christmas break!

Results from yesterday’s girls wrestling tournament in Abilene. Annie Kendig 2-1, 2nd place. Cheyenne Knoll 1-3, 5th place.


In learning about volcanoes, the 4th graders got the opportunity to experiment with “lava” to see what makes some volcanoes explode, as others not. They also discovered why they are shaped differently.
