If you could create a super hero, what would it be? Fifth graders created their own super heroes after exploring character qualities through the books El Deafo and Lunch Money. They also wrote descriptions of their super hero creations. #BulldogPower #ELA
OES students learned about the moon during a visit from the Kansas Cosmosphere. They created their own moons with air clay and explored the cycle of the moon with Oreos. Special thanks to the Dane G. Hansen Foundation for making these dynamic programs possible! #BulldogPower #STEM
Last week OES students participated in Dr. Seuss dress up days and related activities. Mrs. Kreider's kindergarteners enjoyed stories from in person and virtual guest readers, as well as fun crafts and learning activities. #BulldogPower

Jacque Beckman from Nex-tech visited with students from 6th-8th grades and 12th grades yesterday. Her presentation helped students prepared for interviews for AmeriTowne and Senior Scholarships.
Mrs. Mans's hydroponic garden farmers harvested basil and mint this week. They made berry, citrus, and herb infused water and learned about making a tasty and healthy drink. The basil version was a hit and the mint drink met with mixed reviews. #BulldogPower #STEM #SecondGrade
